ABOUT OUR SCHOOL
Buena Vista Kiteboarding is a privately owned school located in Los Barriles, Baja California Sur, Mexico. We started out as a mobile school and have been growing and expanding ever since. Our customers experience is our top priority. We value each and every client, and strive to give everyone the best possible experience when dealing with our school. We only hire experienced, friendly, and knowledgeable staff members and instructors in order to help us achieve this goal.
We teach our beginner lessons in the turquoise waters of the Sea of Cortez with safety as a main priority. We are constantly updating our teaching techniques and equipment so we are able to give you a safe, hassle free lesson.
All lessons are taught on premier equipment from Duotone Kiteboarding. We refresh our quiver at the start of every season so that the gear is up-to-date and our students are provided a safe learning experience.
MAC SKAGGS
Founder & Head Instructor
The man behind the operation! With 15 years of teaching kiteboarding under his belt, Mac Skaggs leads the lessons and tours here at Buena Vista Kiteboarding.
Mac grew up in Los Barriles, Baja, Mexico, and is fluent in English and Spanish. As a local, he is an expert in the conditions that roll through during the windy season (November-April).
From his decades of experience living in this area, he is knowledgeable about where is best for the variety of customized lessons that Buena Vista Kiteboarding offers.
